Dwendalian Empire: No longer exists. Capital Rexxentrum lies hollow, a vast husk of stone and memory. Some buildings in Rexxentrum are turning purple-black, people acting like zombies attacking each other.
Xhorhas: Renamed to Elarion. Transformed from dark, foggy purple wasteland to lush green forests by Quinn and her nature god (Seraphina).
Elarion: Former Xhorhas, now restored by nature's hand. Rivers flow, forests thrive. The World Tree rises as a living monument to the return of the nature gods. Fae races now walk openly. The land is insular, protective of its reborn home, rarely welcoming strangers. Although Quinn and Seraphina reshaped Xhorhas to a lush green forest, it is also struggling with the corruption.
Menagerie Coast: Coastal cities endure without strong leadership. Concord's navy is shattered. Cities: Port Damali, Nicodranas, Port Zoon. No military to speak of. Tekas Rindle and his military offer trade and protection, although it's less organized and structured than Clovis Concord was in the past.
Rindle Island: Born from piracy, forged into a nation by Tekas Rindle. Dominates sea trade. Mistrustful of outsiders.
The Greying Wildlands: Untamed northeast, home to dragons, giants, fantastical beasts.
The Frozen Depths: Northern expanse, home to Gnomeregan (gnome capital).
The Cyrios Mountains: Western range, dwarven stronghold.
Gods Return: Many gods exist. They offer their powers through different means (often referred to as the "relics"). Seraphina is "nature". The god that controls Maestro Vexalis is Music. Luna's god is time. Emma's god and the antagonist is Corruption. It is unclear if there are beings/deities behind this. Names are given by mortals (Seraphina for example) to explain/humanize them. No one knows exactly what they are, where they come from, what their intentions are.
Relics: Godly artifacts reshaping reality. Four mortals claimed them (previous campaign) and reshaped the world. Many champions and bearers came before. The party in the current campaign is working towards becoming the next generation of relic bearers.
The four heroes became the Wildemount Council, each ruling their domain with a godly relic.
Emma's Betrayal: The Necklace of Domination corrupted her. She built the Black Hand as an unseen empire.
Current Status: Council exists but is fractured. Emma's corruption threatens to undo the peace they established. Tekas focuses on his empire, and doesn't care much for outside problems. Luna and Quinn started their search for new relic bearers and relics to restore balance (this kicked off our campaign without the players knowing at the time).
