Chapter 1: To Hell (and Back)

Hook: Mission by Seraphina. Offers fate-bending luck/power in return for the egg.

Summary: Seraphina tells the group to retrieve her egg. Party attends an underground auction (unknown at the time, led by the Black Hand). Meet with Azraman, the devil that owns the egg. The group needs to retrieve Azraman's contract from hell in exchange for the egg. They travel to hell (and back).

  • Azraman's Deal: Devil owns the dragon egg. Offers exchange: his contract from Hell for the egg.

  • Fabel's Death & Resurrection: Fabel dies heroically, resurrected with draconic transformation (wings, roar)
  • Bane's Heritage Revealed: Asmodeus's child. Bane steals his own contract, freeing himself from infernal bonds
  • Nyxara's Secret: Secretly steals her own infernal contract during the heist (unknown to party at the time)
  • Narrow Escape: Party barely escapes Asmodeus's fortress

Consequences

  • Party carries power, debts, and secrets
  • Azraman awaits repayment
  • Asmodeus likely seeks revenge
  • Party now has Argentyx's egg (Seraphina's egg)
