Chapter 4: Nature's Call¶
Hook: The party crashes into Elarion's enchanted forest, separated and facing the living woodland's trials, before reuniting at the World Tree for revelations that will reshape their destiny.
Summary: The party arrives in Elarion by crashing down in the magical forest, where they learn about the fae, the sentient forest, and its ancient challenges. At the World Tree, they meet Quinn (revealed as Seraphina) and Elarion's council, reuniting with Luna. They learn the truth about gods, relics, the spreading Corruption, and why they were chosen to restore balance. Shadow's dagger corrupts him during sleep, forcing him to stab Bane in the chest — though Bane survives due to his infernal heritage. Each party member then embarks on personal arcs to master their relic powers: Ludwig returns to the dragonkin to confront his past, Dee trains with Quinn to control her baton, Bane confronts Asmodeus in his inner sanctum, and Shadow learns to control the dagger's corruption. Luna sends her letter to Tekas announcing their diplomatic mission.
