Emma Wonderbrass / The Lady

  • Role: Shadow queen of the Black Hand
  • Relic: Necklace of Domination
  • Status: CORRUPTED. Central antagonist.
  • Domain: The Black Hand — guild of assassins, thieves, smugglers
  • Personality: Completely paranoid, fully taken over by corruption. Completely isolated. No physical location known to anyone.
  • Location: "The Halls" — some magical place reachable through portals

Quinn Brassdust / The Green Herald

  • Role: Herald of Nature. Founder of Elarion.
  • Relic: The Tree of Life (nature — roots, leaves, all connected)
  • Status: Revealed to be Seraphina, connected/champion of the nature god. At the World Tree. Integrated with the tree — feels everything through its root system.
  • Personality: Wise, testing, protective of Elarion. Has been testing the party throughout their journey.
  • Location: The Leaves (top level of World Tree), Elarion

Tekas Rindle / Lord Rindle

  • Role: Ruler of Rindle Island
  • Relic: Sea Trident
  • Status: Wildcard. Focused on his empire, doesn't care much for outside problems.
  • Personality: Suave pirate-style. King of pirates. Must be fully convinced he is in control. The Black Hand, Emma, and the Corruption must be alluring to him (power).
  • Location: Rindle Island

Faewynn Luna / Keeper Luna

  • Role: Founder of the Great Library. Guardian of historical knowledge.
  • Relic: Time Stone
  • Status: Active ally to the party. Helped them investigate the dragon egg. Sent letter to Tekas announcing the party as diplomats.
  • Location: The Great Library (Empire ruins), also appears at World Tree

Infernal Powers

Asmodeus

  • Role: Ruler of the Nine Hells, tyrant of contracts
  • Connection: Bane's father
  • Status: Rules the Nine Hells. Struggles with the Corruption also manifesting in his domain. "The enemy of my enemy." Granted Bane Archdevil powers as support for the battle against Emma.
  • Key Event: Bane confronted him at the end of Act 4, convinced him they have the same enemy.

Azraman

  • Role: Lesser devil, schemer
  • Connection: Made original deal with party for Hell heist
  • Status: Potential puppet master. Party owes him.

Divine Forces

Seraphina

  • Role: Goddess of Nature
  • Domain: Restored Elarion. Her will shapes Whispering Woods and World Tree. Influence through Quinn.
  • Status: Quinn is merged with Seraphina.

The Corruption

  • Role: Spreading force of domination/control
  • Channeled through: Emma's necklace. Shadow's dagger. Manifesting in Elarion, the Hells, Rexxentrum.
  • Status: Gaining power, growing danger. Central threat of the campaign.

  • Official, secretive, runs Battle of the Bards

  • Twin bards, eccentric and brilliant

Professor Bartholomew "Barfy" Bellowbreeze

  • Former professor turned drunkard conspiracy theorist
  • Actually onto real secrets

Maestro Vexalis

  • Legendary bard, branded heretic
  • Returned as undead, disguised as tribute impersonator
  • Relic bearer of Music domain — chained/captured, locked up by bards college to empower magical battle arena
  • His relic (Conductor's Baton) now held by Dee

Whisper-of-Leaves

  • Dryad guardian. Speaks in nature metaphors, knows forest's living consciousness.
  • Encountered Dee & Shadow.

Stillroot

  • Treant guardian. Ancient, slow, deeply connected to land's memory.
  • Encountered Ludwig.

Thalys

  • Scholar dedicated to understanding the corruption. Helps Shadow.
  • At World Tree.

Bramble

  • Halfling NPC at World Tree market (The Roots)
  • Grows magical seeds with unknown effects
  • Helps with repairs/upgrades
  • Has a moss ball companion

Satyr

  • Lab researcher at The Branches
  • Studies corruption virus

Reinhart

  • Old leader of Ludwig's Giant tribe
  • Died in Mak'Gora (ceremonial combat) to win passage for Ludwig to world's end

Argentyx

  • Ancient Green Dragon. Bonded to Ludwig through her egg — he receives her visions and memories.
  • Disappeared. Appeared corrupted in Ludwig's visions.
  • Commanded the Frostfather to save her child (the dragon egg) before fully becoming corrupted and attacking the Frostfather.

Frostfather

  • Another vanished Ancient, connected to northern regions
  • Appeared in Ludwig's visions
  • Attacked by Argentyx last, died with Argentyx on the mountain

Evicht

  • Dragonborn tribe leader
  • Fought party at Edge of the World
  • Motivation was genuine — protect Argentyx's legacy
  • Tried to steal the egg from the party at world's end
  • Executed by Ludwig
